Two people were arrested Wednesday when Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies and Indiana State Troopers served an arrest warrant at a residence in the one-thousand block of East 50 North near Oakland City.
57-year-old Theresa Wilkins of Petersburg was arrested on a warrant for Identity Theft.
58-year-old David Hughes of Oakland City was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
The sheriff’s office says Hughes was found to be in possession of multiple firearms.
The investigation is ongoing.
