Good Samaritan says it is implementing what it calls “proactive conservation efforts aligned with best clinical practices” in response to the shortage.

The hospital says these efforts allow it to continue offering the highest level of patient care while maintaining supplies for incoming patients.

Good Samaritan assures patients and their families it is closely monitoring the situation and working diligently with its suppliers to secure the necessary IV products.
