State Police are investigating after one person was hurt in a crash Thursday morning on I-70 in Vigo County at mile marker 16.
Officers say a semi and two pickup trucks were involved.
They say 34-year-old Corey Yund of Crawfordsville was planning to make an illegal U-turn in his pickup truck when he was rear-ended by another pickup truck.
The impact then caused Yund’s vehicle to move into the eastbound lanes, where it was hit by a semi.
The semi then went off the road.
Yund was taken to the hospital, but no one else was hurt.
He was cited for making an illegal U-turn.
