Disaster Loan Outreach Centers Now Open in Gibson and Posey Counties. Services available to area residents impacted by July 9th storms.

Businesses and residents in Gibson, Posey and contiguous counties may qualify for low interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration following damage caused by storms July 9th.

The SBA and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security are operating Disaster Loan Outreach Centers at separate locations in Gibson and Posey counties to assist residents in filing claims and answering questions regarding potential assistance to recover from damages.

In Gibson County, the center will be located at the Owensville Fire Department at 200 South First Street in Owensville until August 10th.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

In Posey County, the center will be located at the Posey County Emergency Management Agency at 311 Mill Street during the same dates and times.

In addition to Gibson and Posey Counties, these services are also available for residents in Knox, Pike, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Indiana, Gallatin, Wabash and White Counties in Illinois, and the Kentucky counties of Henderson and Union.
